The paper wallpapers of the Gustavian era are more austere than those of the Rococo age. Stripey patterns made up of floral tendrils and winding lace are typical for the period and can be found in this wallpaper from Bergmansgården in Västansjö. The farm was built in the early 19th century, and the wallpaper dates back to around the same time.
