General information

Where are Duro wallpapers manufactured?
All Duro production takes place just outside the city of Gävle, Hagaström. The factory has been there ever since the company started in 1930, at an old tobacco factory dating back to the late 19th century. Duro is one of a small number of surviving wallpaper factories, and today we’re based at the oldest wallpaper factory in Sweden and are still using the original machines we used at the very beginning of our journey. The entire manufacturing process – from basic design to finished product – takes place within our four walls. We take great pride in our Scandinavian wallpaper tradition!

Are your wallpapers eco-friendly?
Duro established unique environmental work back in the 1960s and have been manufacturing wallpapers that won’t harm our environment ever since. All our inks and glazes are waterborne and entirely free from solvents and PVC. When we select new materials, eco-friendliness is an important criterion. This also provides us with a good work environment both inside and outside the factory. We dispose of surplus ink in an eco-friendly way. Waste paper is turned into heat. Care for our environment is reflected in everything we do.

Are your wallpapers quality-assured?
Quality is a concept closely associated with Duro. Duro offers some of the highest-quality wallpaper on the market. We’ve been working with internal quality audits for a long time, resulting in our outstanding quality and production reliability. We have one of the lowest complaint levels on the market.

Where can I collect the wallpaper I’ve ordered?
Our collection points are displayed when you place your order, and you can choose the store where you want to collect your wallpaper.

How long do wallpapers take to deliver?
Products are normally delivered within 3 to 5 working days, calculated from the date on which you place your order. You’ll be notified of your earliest collection date depending on the method you select. Your delivery may take longer than usual to arrive if you order any items that are out of stock. In this case, your order will be delivered only when all products are back in stock.

Can you send wallpaper outside Sweden?

What should I do if I have problems with my order?
First and foremost, always contact the store you completed your order with and picked up your package (contact information are available at each store).

What should I do if I discover any problems with my wallpaper?
In this case, contact the store where you collected the products as soon as possible. You may need to provide a sample of the wallpaper or photos of the problem so that we can deal with your complaint.

What should I do if I have any rolls of wallpaper left over when I’ve finished?
Contact the store that handled your order – they’ll check whether you can return the extra rolls. We must have the product serial number in stock to be able to accept your return.
